人类消失后，地球经历了漫长的岁月。 位于日本首都东京银座的「银河楼」酒店，至今仍在营业中。 工作人员是以酒店机器人八千代为中心，在各个部门工作的员工机器人们。它们一边等待老板的归来和再次迎接人类的时刻，一边在没有住客的酒店里专心致志地工作，这样的日子仿佛永无止境。 而对于这样的八千代等人，现在，小小的奇迹即将发生——

In quick succession, Wan loses her job and her father, suddenly inheriting her father's grocery store, crumbling away during hard times. She soon meets hardworking and flirtatious store regular Maewnam. Maewnam is supportive of Wan's efforts to turn the business around, but she's hiding the truth about her family's business which threatens Wan's plans.
While recovering from a severe injury, Wisting receives an anonymous letter. The cryptic content leads Wisting to suspect a possible injustice in an old murder case where a 17-year-old girl was killed, and her ex-boyfriend was convicted
